The First Annual, Or Perhaps Monthly, BWGSPS

by Frost on October 18, 2011

Today is a special day for Freedom Twenty-Five. I’m hosting my  first ever Blog-Whoring Gratuitous Self-Promotion Sweepstakes (BWGSPS).

The purpose of the BWGSPS is to spread awareness of this blog to new audiences, while giving loyal readers a chance to win some swag. If you’re reading this, you obviously think that I write an interesting, useful and/or entertaining blog. So why not tell some friends about it?

– Send your buddies an email

– Share your favourite post on your Facebook wall

– Get yo twittah on

– Open your window and scream, “FREEEEDOM twenty-five!”

I know that I have a core of loyal readers who will almost certainly pass this URL around, if they haven’t already. But I’m wondering how many “quiet” readers – i.e. those who don’t comment, write me emails, or otherwise make their presence known to be beyond my hit counter – will step up and value my work enough to help share it.

As a humble incentive, I’m going to make the following offer. If you like, leave a comment describing what you did to promote this blog. How many people did you email/tweet/share this blog with? How did you describe it? What was the response?

The five readers who make the BEST attempts to share this blog with new audiences will receive a free review copy of Freedom Twenty-Five: The 21st-Century Man’s Guide To Life. Not exactly a prize you can retire on, but if you were going to buy it anyways, let me know what you do and save yourself a few bucks.

Thanks in advance for your help.

It’s very important that young people avoid making decisions that are difficult to escape from later in life or that trap them in poverty. Freedom Twenty Five attempts to provide wisdom to guide people away from becoming trapped sheep. To help promote this blog, I am posting a recommendation and link for all my clients to read this blog on my college entertainment telegram website. While most of my clients are young college age women in the Auburn AL area, they have brothers and friends who might want to avoid the conventional traps of corporate America. Perhaps they may not want to become the trap. Keep writing. Many men ask me how they can live the life of a local entertainer of women. As Oriental Thunder.. I’ll be happy to refer them here for ideas on how not to get trapped and how to preserve freedom.

Good luck in Thailand. I hope to join Peace Corps in a few years and go to the Philippines. I missed that place ever since I returned from my first trip in 2007. Live the dream.

I sent a few of your articles to my best man. I’ve been feeding him red pill material gradually, and yours is quite a jump, but I think he’ll be up to it.

My other friends are sadly beyond reach. They’re hopeless. I actually hate the fuckers for still wasting money on dates with girls. Saving one is better than nothing though.

I’ve quoted a few of your nugets of wisdom on Facebook. They’ve been getting generally positive and upbeat reponses.

For example:
“In all likelihood, the world is full of people smarter, better looking, and more talented than you. But they’ll probably be playing Halo while you’re out conquering the world.” – Freedom Twenty Five
Got a thought provoking reponse of “comforting words…”

And my personal favorate:
“Introspection tells us that we are all brilliant and unique, while the reality is that most of us are not. Writing, and not being read, is the fastest way to be cured of our delusions of grandeur.” – Freedom Twenty Five
Which got confirmation by a readerless blogger who said “any blogger can tell you this :)”

I’m going to try finding a few more standalone quotes to post.

Found a few more nice quotes to post.

“I too suffer from the mighty disadvantage of being awesome.”
“Fat people may be gross, but they make it easier for the rest of us the look hawt in comparison.”

I had to think long and hard about posting the second one. I ended up deciding that I was a mouse and only posted it to a private group of friends.
