I’m gonna set up an RSS feed. Not sure why I haven’t already. Thankfully I can still read a book for hours without stopping. I’m reading A Man in Full by Tom Wolfe now. It’s really good and I recommend it highly. Some interesting alpha male characters in it.

Tom Wolfe is one of my favourite fiction authors, and Man in Full is his best work IMO. Slightly better than BotV. The chapter where Conrad snaps while trying to get his car back is one of my favourite passages in fiction.

I actually tried to borrow heavily from man in full in my novel, Trig, which I will get around to finishing one of these days.

Yes–that is an incredible chapter. I’m partial to Electric Kool Aid Acid Test, probably because Kesey is my favorite author (try finding anyone more alpha than Kesey). Sometimes a Great Notion is a must read.

That’s the way I do it! Silence is golden. Don’t forget about the importance of stargazing, the real stargazing either.
